Yesterday I plucked three figs from my fig tree.
(By the way, did you know that figs are actually flowers? I only just recently learned this and I’m amazed!)
So are three figs abundance or not?
Three isn’t very many. I have enough to share if each of us has only one. There isn’t enough to really have me feel like I’ve had enough if I eat all of them.
How would you feel if you had a harvest of three figs? Abundant or unsatisfied? Maybe disappointed?
Maybe a figs harvest doesn’t connect for you. Take another example in your life where you feel unsatisfied or where something isn’t enough.
We always have a choice for how we feel about something. But sometimes things just feel like not enough.
At the end of the day, when I look back at the list of things I wanted to do but wasn’t able to because of family or unexpected demands, I can feel like there’s just not enough time.
When a week goes by and I don’t hear from my son, I can feel like there’s not enough contact.
When I want to buy that beautiful duvet cover but it’s not in the budget this month, I can feel like there’s not enough money.
You might think this is normal. Right? And it is.
At some time or another, we all feel that there isn’t enough of something.
I’d agree, to a point.
We can have momentary instances where we come up against something that doesn’t feel enough. And in the way that life and creation work, those instances are signposts for us to calibrate to more. We give ourselves the experience of wanting to expand into more so that we can create more.
But sometimes we get into a pattern of wanting.
It’s almost like getting stuck on a track of wanting. Where every day you notice how you don’t have enough time. You catch yourself sharing how overwhelmed you feel because you don’t have enough time. And you wake up each day, rushing and short-tempered because there’s just not enough time.
For some of us that can sound familiar. But maybe for you, it’s not about time, but about money. Or support. Or rest. Or love.
And when this goes on for a while, you probably get help or look for resources. Maybe you’ve worked with a coach or a therapist. Maybe you’ve read books. Maybe you’ve been following abundance experts. Or worked on your mindset or tried tapping or purchased courses.
That may have helped you shift things.
But sometimes things just feel stuck or sticky. They don’t really seem to shift all the way. So I thought I’d offer you another perspective.
As an intuitive or highly sensitive person, you get that everything is energy. After all, you feel it.
Just imagine the centuries of time humanity has spent feeling and believing in their limited resources and limited self. That in itself forms a cloud of energy. It doesn’t dissipate because every year, more of us add to the cloud because we also feel scarcity in our lives.
And when you are sensitive like you are, you can calibrate to that energy without being fully aware that you are.
Then as you build habits of thought and action (a very normal, human thing to do), you form a pretty devoted relationship with that collective energy of scarcity and poverty. And that relationship is an energetic one.
If you are expert at working with your energy, you can use your methods to disconnect from the collective energy of scarcity and poverty.
But if you are like me, when you make the connection that the collective energy of scarcity/poverty has become something of a (un)conscious co-dependent relationship at an energy level, then you’d seek support at an energy level from an expert.
That’s what I did a few weeks ago for myself and my mentorship group. I reached out to Donna Henderson, and we worked together to craft a type of energy clearing/healing by treating the collective consciousness of scarcity/poverty as an entity (like a person).
For a while now, we had been working as a group on our own power as co-creators in an abundant universe but I continued to feel like something was up. With the way I perceive energy, I can sense that with the ways that energy is moving now it is calling us to look more creatively at things.
We had some remarkable results after Donna’s work. Our energy shifted in subtle ways. The way we spoke about things changed. We noticed more of the ways we were supporting scarcity in our lives. And they began to fall away.
So Donna and I decided we’d open up a healing/clearing experience for others to benefit from. If this article resonates with you, please join us this Friday, July 7. Here are all the details.
Important: If you are not able to make it live, you will still be included in the energy healing. You will receive a recording of the work and can listen in your own time. But the healing will happen when during the call.
And for those of you who might want the specifics. This is something of a cross between a ‘cord cutting’ and high-level Akashic clearings. The goal is to address current time, past life and ancestral energy, to disconnect our relationship to the consciousness of scarcity/poverty so that we can have a cleaner relationship with our abundant creator self.
If you have questions, let me know. I’m happy to answer them.
Now back to those figs.
I’m actually delighted. I planted this fig tree a few years ago and I love figs so I’m happy to have a small handful. There will be more.
I feel deeply abundant in this, and in my life.
I’m delighted to have you here as part of my abundance.
