Rather than set goals, or intentions I’m trying something new this year
Hello 2024! I can feel you moving!
Hello and blessings to you for this new year!
I’m excited to be back, are you?
I felt the shift of the energy when Mars went into Capricorn on January 4. As Astrologer Tiffany Harelik says, it’s time for “practical action. Accountability, persistence, and discipline. Take action while the planet of drive (Mars) is in the sign of determination (Capricorn) January 4th – February 13th.”
I’m feeling it!
Only this isn’t just action as you’ve known it. We are working in time and energy that isn’t what we are used to. Taking action steps just isn’t going to work like we want it to.
Time is sliding around. Sometimes moving slower and others moving faster. Sometimes it feels like multiple dimensions are colliding creating feelings overwhelm with several disjointed choices present at the same time.
Energy can feel slippery as it did in December making us feel like we were losing our minds as we found it hard to remember things we did the day or week before. As I feel into this year’s energy it feels both wide and expansive and pin-pointed focus. Two incongruous states. And the threads of energy possibilities keep re-arranging themselves moment to moment.
Now, here we are at the beginning of the new year contemplating the 12 months ahead. Some of you will make plans and set goals. Some will set intentions or affirmations. Or maybe you’ll make a word of the year.
All to fulfill the urge to use the fresh start to prepare and propel you toward more of who you want to be.
Rather than set goals, or intentions I’m trying something new this year.
I want to use this new fast-moving, multi-dimensional energy.
And guess what? You can’t use it by taking action and making a to-do list.
Then what do you do?
You need to access the flow of creation itself and ride it. That is done through the energetic realm, not the physical realm.
For weeks now, I’ve had this quiet nudge to practice Wonder.
When you can get into a state of wonder, you slip out of time and into the field of creation. It’s in that place where we get out of our own way and allow our own divine self to bring in seeming miracles.
So I’m making it a project. I’m inviting you to create through the practice of Wonder. I’m making it into a ‘thing’ we can do together. And since it’s not something we’ve all done before, we will practice, learn and teach each other.
Here’s the foundation of how this works: to be in wonder is to already hold the belief that something is or will be. Wonder is absent of doubt, failure and uncertainty. Wonder contains curiosity and miracles.
The Wonder project is three simple weeks of practicing wonder, directed by your personal Wonder statements.
I’ll guide us through setting our values and our Wonder statements. And we’ll define how we want to make note of our personal Wonder moments. Each week, we will meet to share what’s unfolding for us and keep us on track. We will be each other’s support team and cheerleaders.
We’ll meet once a week for three weeks on the Wonder project.
To join, all you have to do upgrade your subscription to become a paying subscriber. Only $11 per month and you’ll join my Bring It to Life membership.
(Existing paid subscribers are already automatically included in the Wonder project.)
And if you can’t make it to the live calls, I’ll share the recordings to my paid Bring It to Life members so you can follow along at your pace.
We start Thursday. Come join us!
More new things for the new year
I’ll be sharing more Notes this year. I keep having these short thoughts that are self-contained. They don’t need to become a long message but I believe they’d be helpful to you. You’ll see them on the Substack app, but you can also find them on desktop. I made this quick video to show you where to find them.
I love the word wonder... perfect for this time of year, like you said. Thanks, Judith!
Wow, amazing! Cannot wait for the call <3
