This last week I’ve been reviewing each of my social media accounts and giving some serious thought to how I want to intentionally use each platform.
For the record, I don’t naturally gravitate to social media. I really prefer meaningful connections. Which for me means knowing something more than the sound-bite, and having a dialogue around an issue or topic.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn for what they are good at, but they are not really set up for meaningful connection. I know people who do use them for engagement really well, and I’ve given different aspects a go, but honestly, they are not the best tools when I want to have an exchange about what emergence energy feels like and how it’s beginning to play out in your life.
The truth is that what I need and want is a simple, minimal, clean way to share while opening the door for you to comment and engage in a way that helps you. Without distractions. Without pressure. On your own time. In a way that is easy to manage.
Sticking to intentional, minimal and sustainable
I’m a big believer in staying minimal and intentional. In all that I do.
This means that as I look at things I need for my business, I keep things simple and uncomplicated.
The piece I’m missing is the piece that ties together engagement. Not sound-bite engagement, but something that allows for continuity, connection, depth and the safety that allows for vulnerability.
I also want it to be something that respects your time and mine, that honors our privacy, and is not manipulative.
So I’m going to create my own community with the tools I already use and respect.
Right here, within this tool (Substack) that I use for email, blog and podcast, I’m creating a sub-group called Bring It to Life to serve as my experiment to create my own invention for community and engagement (without using Facebook groups or Circle or some other paid community tool).
Here’s what this means for you:
You are already included in Bring It to Life as a feature of being in this newsletter-email list.
Bring It to Life is the home base for a more intimate engagement between us.
It’s the space that holds all the more timely things that are going on in the work I do that can support you.
It’s where you can check in and find the latest notes, musings and free events, as well as connect, comment and share.
It’s easy to find.
Just click on any email title you receive from me and it will take you to You Are the Dream. Right inside, there’s a menu that takes you to all Bring It to Life posts.
This is an experiment. I have no idea how it will turn out.
But I know I go about my days thinking I have things I want to share with connected, conscious, intuitive, empathic, women to help them move through their life with ease and joy. We need this type of connection and support now, and I have a feeling we are going to need it even more over the next few years.
What to expect within Bring It to Life:
My thoughts about how to live an easier life as an intuitive or empath as you grow your business.
Curated articles or videos from others that are so helpful and timely to the moment, given the energy playing out astrologically.
Observations about how the cosmic energies are playing out for us and the opportunities that are opening.
All the bits and pieces that come to me that are all about bringing your dream to life.
This will also be home to my monthly free mentoring office hours. The first one is April 7. You can join here.
I may post as often as daily.
What to know to make the most of Bring It to Life:
I intend for this space to be where I can post daily without worrying that I’m emailing too often. If you want to less, you can easily opt-out while still receiving the weekly email.
I encourage you to get the Substack App so you can check in when it makes sense for you. It’s a streamlines way to read and comment on all Substack newsletters, rather than using email. (It’s only available for Apple right now.)
Comment and share! Each post gives you an opportunity to ask a question, share something you’ve found that has helped you, leave a note on how something did or did not help you, and respond to any other comment. It’s all on you to engage, not manipulated by an algorithm.
Wait! Is weekly just too much? Or this isn’t right for you right now?
You can easily unsubscribe by clicking the Unsubscribe link below and still continue to receive of the weekly info I share on You Are the Dream.

One of the main ways other people will find this space, is if you share it. Here’s the link👇🏼 to do so when it makes sense:
This is exciting, Judith! I'm going to grab the app and see what it's like. :)
