I’ll be closing out this year by watching a comedy show. When I reflected on how I wanted to close 2024 I realized I wanted it to be to laughter.
Before I settle in for the show, I wanted to take a moment to close the year with you.
There’s something about this particular moment, when we switch out our calendars to a new number, that has us assessing our previous year. We turn to evaluation, reflection, planning and intending. We have hopes for the new year, the new opportunities. Or maybe we have apprehension and worry.
Either way, it’s a very clearly demarcated day and time to make a choice. Choose who you want to be. Choose how you want to feel. Choose how you want to perceive life.
Make your choice.
And then say farewell to who you were. Say goodby to all the beliefs, thoughts, experiences and moments that brought you here. Give them a hug and let them go. They have served you well.
When you wake tomorrow, smile big and say hello to the person, feelings and thoughts you have chosen. Say hello and welcome the new you.

Blessings on 2024 and all I lived, all you lived. Blessings to you for being here with me.
I’ll see you all in 2025. Can’t wait to see what you’ve chosen!
I choose to be loving and to be loved. I choose to live diligently into the expansiveness that is available to me in all aspects of my life.
(I pulled the Ace of Cups last night.)
I'm leaving the city in the morning. I went to a nye event for an hour just to say goodbyes. Lots of emotions. Lots of energy. I've been disconnected from my community but i was reminded of the people i love and that I am loved.
A former toxic partner was there. We didn't speak and a mutual friend had told me he'd be there, and "protected" me by keeping him away. When I left it was raining and I did a quick ritual to release any energy around this person
i was home before midnight. Before I went out I submitted my 2023 taxes! And when I came home I registered my business.
