“ To work with emergent energy, you would work with your soul or inner wisdom to navigate the unknown and allow the new thing to emerge. In this way it you would not be directing things through plans and thoughts but moving with the energy that is actively supporting you in the unknown.”

Appreciating how you’re articulating this experience Judith. I’m in the middle of such an emergent experience and it’s both unfamiliar and familiar. In the past I would be gripping hold of control, but this time I’m nurturing the essence of what I felt wanted to come through and then have been really hands off about the details. I’ve found that when I mention the project to people, they have another piece to add to it and it’s emerging into something that I couldn’t have thought of on my own.

Also appreciating how you described the energy itself, “ It has a very clear feel to it: light and swirly, young, like the brand-new tendrils of a vine reaching for what it will anchor to.” That’s what I felt, this sense of new aliveness and possibility.

"...the possibility and potential of emergent energy really shows its full potential when we allow ourselves to step into and work within our own personal unknown." I feel like I need to be reminded of this every. single. day. Haha. I love the analogy of the vine. I can imagine it unfurling into my life... I also love how you interpret the energy. Reading your take on it helps validate what I'm feeling but usually unable to put words to. Thank you!
